Review: SMradio

Self Modulation Radio (SMradio) is a great app from Stephen Moser, that offers a unique way to listen to your music. It really is a quirky way to listen to your muisc. Simply turn the dial and a song will pop up at random. Its 1950’s design also gives it a ‘cool’ factor that not a lot of music players do. It uses the music you have on your iDevice and randomly picks a song. Reciprocating 1950’s design, there is static as you move through through the sattions, almost fooling you into believing that you really do control the airwaves. This app offers real charm all round, and really is a great app to have tucked away. Double tap on the speaker to see your music artwork, and just like your normal iPod app, you can close the app while the music is playing. I wouldn’t say this app replaces your music app, but it certainly should gain a place on your iDevice dock. Its certainly on mine.

SMradio is available for free for a limited time on the App Store.

  1. Please let me know if you’re looking for a writer for your blog. You have some really good articles and I think I would be a good asset. If you ever want to take some of the load off, I’d absolutely love to
write some material for your blog in exchange for a link
back to mine. Please send me an email if interested.

    • That sounds like an interesting proposal. This site is not currently active, but it would be great to get it up and running again. I don’t know your email address. How do you want to get in touch?
